OM Healing in Southampton

Joyce speaks about her experience of OM Healing

"Om healing is like being bathed in sound. I usually experience tingling around the crown of my head, the throat and chest area, and then eventually down my arms. As the session progresses other sounds can be heard amongst the chanting which then becomes enhanced and amplified, although there are no more people present than when we started. The sound as it builds becomes almost palpable and I feel it flowing around me and around the whole group. I then aim to direct it mentally to include visually those who I'm sending healing to and all the others written in the healing book. At the end I feel very calm and centred, and am also filled with deep inner joy". Joyce.

	The OM Healing group for Southampton meets on the second Tuesday of each month at: The Friends Meeting House, 1a Ordnance road, Southampton, SO15 2AZ at 8 p.m.
OM Healing is open for any one to attend but if participants have severe depression or suffer from a serious mental illness, you need to make Sebastian aware of it before you attend. Please bring a cushion and blanket if you want to sit on the floor or alternatively you can use the chairs provided in the hall. Please let Sebastian know you are coming so he can get an idea of numbers. OM Healing runs for 45 minutes and then the group do a 10-15 minutes silent meditation after finishing the circle.
Cost: £3.00 each	The money goes towards the cost of renting the hall. Any money left over at the end of the year after paying for the hall hire, is given to charity in December.

 How does OM Healing work?

The cosmic vibration of OM aligns all the energetic vibrations within us. By chanting OM within a specifically arranged group of people, the healing power is enhanced and amplified. By chanting OM we release negative energy, thoughts and emotions, thereby bringing about healing. This process impacts all aspects of our being: the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. This has a combined effect of not only balancing the health of all the people within the group, but everywhere within the surrounding area, people and animals living in the vicinity, buildings and nature also benefit.

The transformational process is being enabled by the collective higher consciousness of the group. A channel is formed between higher consciousness and the participants, in which the vibration of OM flows into and around the whole group. As a result, different energies – like fear, tension, pride are released and purified.

The healing power can also be directed for the benefit of people not present in the circle. Places and life situations may also be healed by members of the group if they focus upon them while chanting the OM mantra.
